Description
Slightly larger than their Eastern cousins, the crimson rosellas are a stunning visitor to the garden, no matter how naughty or destructive they are. It amazes me how the really pretty birds are the ones who get away with looking at you while shredding your newly planted sugar maple, or randomly tasting fruits to see if they are ripe yet. Their payment for getting away with the naughtiness is to become my models.
I have popped this cheeky crimson rosella on this equally bold Susanna Liberty print, as I know that these are flowers he will not be able to destroy.
This bold original watercolour is about an A4 size 21.5 cm x 30cm and is painted using professional quality watercolours on handmade paper.
