Initially I thought this piece would be perfect for the Beautiful Bizarre Magazine exhibition, but sadly it was not to be, but it did make it’s debut at Sydney Contemporary 2022 at the Michael Reid Murrurundi booth. I have paired shimmering hummingbirds (one of the few exotic birds I love painting) with passionflowers in a sumptuous gold ground vase.
This is an original unframed painting using professional watercolours on handmade 100% cotton rag paper.
