Description
This original watercolour painting features Phoebe who is a female leaden flycatcher. They are the most acrobatic of birds, swooping in and and catching their preferred insects out of the air. She is part of a pair which visit us here near Mudgee so it seemed appropriate that I feature her on one of my favourite teacups in my collection.
She loves a good strong cup of lapsang souchong to get the taste of fly out of her beak…
