Description
This is Australi’s smallest bird, the weebill. I wasn’t sure that we have had them here, but going through all the hundreds of generic thornbill photos looking for poses I noticed this little bird who looked similar, but with a pardalote shaped beak. I was delighted. It meant to could tick another bird off our bird list! I have placed this little cutie on a vintage Paragon teacup.
This petite 21cm squared painting is painting in professional quality watercolours on khaki handmade cotton rag paper.
