Description
Hard to see but always a welcome visitor is the varied sitella. Like the treecreeper they eat all the insects on the bark of trees, but unlike the treecreeper they are usually facing downwards, whereas treecreepers walk up the trees. I have decide that this tree creeper will be pointing down into the teacup… like it would in the treetops. As it is a fairly unassuming bird I have paired it with a blingy Rosina daisy pattern teacup.
This petite 21cm squared painting is painting in professional quality watercolours on khaki handmade cotton rag paper.
