I have become a bit obsessed by a couple of different chintz tea set patterns. OK, this William Morris design is not technically a chintz, but it is an all over bold pattern and it looked so good paired with the smallest of the fairy wrens, the red backed wren. He looks so dapper in his dark suit with bright red scarf.
This unframed petite 21cm x 21cm watercolour is painted using professional quality watercolours on 100% handmade cotton rag paper from Tasmania.
