Description
This female red tailed black cockatoo is sampling the cumquats on this bonsai surrounded by our local orchard swallowtail butterflies. This piece is mainly inspired by our overenthusiastic cumquat (so far three batches of marmalade and at least two of cordial this year alone) and the beautiful swallowtail butterflies who flutter languidly around the yard.
This is an original unframed painting using professional watercolours on handmade 100% cotton rag paper.
