Description
We have tried to grow waratahs here with no success, so I will just have to admire their beauty every time we drive through the Blue Mountains on our way to Sydney. I am sure these local striped honeyeaters would also be as beguiled as I am by their beauty and of course their nectar, all set off in a Talwin Morris Moorcroft vase. This original watercolour is painted on handmade 100% cotton rag paper sourced from Tasmania. This painting was featured in my Ginger and Honey exhibition held at Michael Reid Sydney in 2019.
