Description
Laughing kookaburras are part of the terrestrial tree kingfisher family and the largest kingfisher of them all. That is why I have made him the Fisher King in this painting. Despite being a kingfisher, unlike their smaller counterparts, they don’t really eat fish and are not really associated with water, but they do love a bird bath!
