Description
Technically a type of Australian parrot, this crimson rosella is enjoying feasting on these tulip petals… or maybe he is playing “she loves me… she loves me not” either way he looks quite fetching with the parrot tulips in the Delft tulipiere. Normally they prefer feasting on the seeds of eucalypts, grasses and shrubs, as well as insects and some tree blossoms.
